shooting everyone and
everything
from kittens and weddings, to bikers and rock stars, for nearly two decades, with a comprehensive
range of on location, event photography

I find inspiration all around me. My style is to capture what is
already there, rather than create something fake or staged. I tend to
see the beauty in things, or people, that others my not recognize at
first glance. I have a deep passion for music and a love and respect for those
who create it. The camera is my instrument...an extension of me. I'm most alive in the photo
pit.
I am also available for festivals, fairs, mixers,
soirees, galas, balls, proms, newborns, bridal and baby showers,
fundraisers, seminars, conferences, reunions, award ceremonies, theatre
performances, plays, symphonies, dance recitals, parties -
birthday, graduation, engagement, and anniversary, - receptions -
wedding, art gallery, and otherwise, - cruises, and any other title your
event may have...I photograph events for area businesses and organizations. I have
donated my services to several charity events. My photos are used as
promotional material for Albany County and various Albany County
businesses.
It's not about an expensive camera and fancy
equipment - it's not about
overcharging to make customers think they'll get what they pay
for...it's about talent and passion. You either have it or you don't. I
did not become a photographer for any other reason than to capture
people, places, and things as I see them...and to bring out their
natural beauty. My prices are very fair and I
strive to make each picture the best it can be. I learned on film,
therefore I learned photography. Anyone can buy a camera and
point and shoot, but if it's not a part of their soul, it will show. The
same holds true for any type of art.

In celebration of Albany´s 400 Year Anniversary, Kim has captured
Albany as it is now...the skyline, The Capitol covered in snow, tulips
in Washington Park, and more. Exhibiting approximately two dozen, black and white and color digital photographs, of various
Albany images taken throughout 2008. Admission: Free | framed and
unframed images
will be available for purchase.
Location: Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center, 25 Quackenbush Square
(The Broadway side of the Albany Pump Station, corner of Broadway and
Clinton Avenue), Albany, NY 12207. Parking available via Spencer St.
